Every dollar government spends comes from a Texas taxpayer, and those dollars deserve to be treated with respect. That’s why I launched investigations into four school districts to examine whether taxpayer dollars are being spent wisely.
Over the weekend, I also celebrated my mother’s birthday and shared a proud family moment with my grandchildren.
As Comptroller, I’m rooting out fraud, waste, and abuse at every level of government. The money belongs to you, and you deserve full transparency and accountability.
