Hello, Patriots!
It has been another eventful week in the Comptroller’s Office. From fighting for property tax relief to expanding education freedom, we’re focused on cutting government waste, protecting taxpayers, and preserving the freedom that makes Texas the greatest state in America.
I’m grateful to be in the fight alongside conservatives and business leaders across our state. There is plenty of work ahead, and we’re just getting started.
Education Savings Accounts are Thriving in Texas
Texans are thirsty for education freedom. That’s over 101,000 students are participating in the program.
As Comptroller, it’s my job to make sure parents have the information they need to make the best choices for their children. Giving parents more choices creates competition, and competition pushes schools to improve, innovate, and deliver better results for every student.
Parents know what’s best for their children. Government should empower them, not stand in their way.

Texas Apartment Association trusts me because they know I want to make Texas the most pro-taxpayer state in the nation.
I will help Texans cut the chains of government by rooting out wasteful spending and delivering meaningful property tax relief.

It was an honor to speak at the Grassroots America Gala. I told the hundreds of patriots in attendance about my first week as Comptroller. I’m grateful to be in the fight with them. Together, we are going to keep Texas red.
