Hello, Patriots!
On Saturday, I was sworn in as your Texas Comptroller and am already working to keep my campaign promises. I told you I would refuse a salary, and that is exactly what I am doing. That's because I don't work for the government. I work for you.
Serving without a salary is a reminder that this office exists to serve the people of Texas, not the other way around. It is a responsibility I take seriously.
The Office of the Texas Comptroller is one of the most important agencies in state government. As the chief financial officer of the eighth-largest economy in the world, the Comptroller is entrusted with safeguarding taxpayer dollars, and providing the financial leadership that helps keep Texas the best place to live and work.
I approach this responsibility with a sense of urgency and a commitment to running government lean and efficient while always putting Texas first.
Thank you again for the trust you've placed in me and your support. Now, let's get to work.

Texas Republicans Are United

Last week, I joined every statewide Republican candidate for a first-of-its-kind gathering at the Governor's Mansion. The entire non-judicial statewide ticket came together in one room to chart the course to victory this November.
It's rare to see this kind of unity, and it sends a clear message: Texas Republicans are united behind one mission. We are committed to defending our conservative values, keeping Texas solidly red, and rejecting the radical left's agenda.
